Purpose
Ora Pet is an innovative, ergonomic wearable collar designed to connect with Chordata's glucose biochip, allowing continuous monitoring of a pet's glucose levels throughout the day. The collar communicates with the biochip, tracks daily activity, and syncs with the Ora Pet app to alert users when their pet’s glucose levels reach dangerous thresholds.
Discover
Pets with diabetes often struggle to maintain safe glucose levels, especially in relation to their daily activity. This imbalance can cause stress for the animal, pet owners, and veterinarians as they work to manage the condition effectively
Connect
The Ora wearable connects with the Chordata biochip to deliver critical health data to both pet parents and veterinary teams.
Solve
Ora reduces the need for frequent blood draws by enabling regular glucose monitoring and early detection of potential health issues.
Pet Parent
Ora minimizes the need for frequent blood draws by providing continuous glucose monitoring and enabling early detection of potential health concerns
Aware
Pet parents increasingly seek out health information online and take an active role in managing their animals' well-being
Tech-Savvy
These users have grown up with the internet and mobile devices, making them comfortable with adopting and adapting to new technologies
Testing
Numerous pet parents volunteered their dogs for initial user testing of the Ora app and wearable. They shared feedback on what they liked, suggested changes, and offered recommendations. The product was refined based on their input, with multiple rounds of user testing conducted throughout development
